Who we are
Built on the Ground. Proven in the Field.
InfoMystery Fortune Mine is a South African exploration services company with a track record built across the continent's most demanding operating environments.
Our Story
InfoMystery Fortune Mine was founded with a single conviction: that the gap between a licence and a bankable resource is closed by execution, not by reports. Too many exploration programmes stall not because the geology is wrong, but because the people running the programme lack the field experience to keep it moving.
We built this company to close that gap. Our founders came out of operational roles — drill site managers, field geologists, project engineers — not consulting offices. That background shapes everything we do: how we scope programmes, how we manage contractors, how we handle the unexpected, and how we report to clients.
Today we work with junior explorers taking their first steps on a new licence and with major mining houses running multi-phase programmes across multiple jurisdictions. The scale changes. The standards don't.
What We Stand For
Technical Integrity
We don't cut corners on data quality. Every sample, every log, every interpretation is held to the standard that a Competent Person would sign off on.
Operational Accountability
When we take on a programme, we own it. Budget overruns and schedule slippage are our problem to solve, not yours to absorb.
Honest Reporting
We tell clients what the data says, not what they want to hear. That's the only way exploration capital gets allocated to the right targets.
African Expertise
We understand the regulatory environments, the logistics challenges, and the community dynamics that define exploration in southern and sub-Saharan Africa.
Credentials & Standards
SAMREC Compliant Reporting
All resource estimates and technical reports are prepared to South African Mineral Resource Committee (SAMREC) standards, with Competent Person sign-off.
JORC Code Alignment
For cross-border and internationally financed projects, we deliver reporting aligned to the JORC Code, enabling use in ASX, TSX, and London-listed company disclosures.
HSE Management Systems
Our site operations are governed by a formal HSE management system. Zero LTI record maintained across all active programmes to date.
SACNASP & GSSA Membership
Our professional geologists hold registration with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) and membership of the Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA).
